ALL CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO START TAKING L-LYSINE AS DIRECTED 2 WEEKS BEFORE AND AFTER THEIR LIP BLUSH APPOINTMENT. IN ADDITION, IF YOU HAVE EVER HAD A COLD SORE, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO CONSULT A PHYSICIAN AND TAKE A PRESCRIPTION ANTIVIRAL AS PRESCRIBED BEFORE AND AFTER RECEIVING LIP BLUSH TATTOO*
Unfortunately, not everyone is a good candidate for lip blush.
This service cannot be performed on someone if they:
-are under 18
-are pregnant or breastfeeding, NO exceptions
-have ever had a cold sore*
-test positive for HIV, Hepatitis or any other transmissible diseases
-have an auto-immune disease, glaucoma, are undergoing medical treatments, taking prescriptions, or have any unresolved medical conditions
-are allergic to makeup or colors
-are currently undergoing chemotherapy or have taken antibiotics in the last 8 weeks
-have Eczema, Psoriasis, Dermatitis, skin healing/shedding conditions, or undiagnosed blisters or rashes in the area
-have high blood pressure, hypertension, Diabetes type 1 or 2, Anemia, Hemophilia or other blood clotting conditions
-have Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation that is easily triggered (hyperpigmentation after trauma or inflammation of the skin)
-are a chronic user of blood thinners like alcohol, ibuprofen, or prescriptions
-are sunburned, prone to keloid scarring, or have very dry and cracked lips
-use steroids of any kind
-have overfilled lips or are a chronic smoker (the skin on overfilled lips becomes too thin and can bruise and bleed more easily, and chronic smoking will cause loss of pigment due to the constant friction on the lips)
-have tested positive for COVID- 19 or been in contact with anyone tested positive in the last 30 days. PLEASE wait a minimum of 7 days or for a negative COVID-19 test after traveling to come into the studio.
*Clients are required to consult with their physician prior to receiving lip blush and before starting or stopping any form of medication and/or supplements, etc., or altering dosages of any kind.
